OS Business Interiors Awards New Classroom for Winner of the “Ugliest Classroom Contest”

EL MONTE, CA (November 21, 2011) —OS Business Interiors, a division of Office Solutions, the largest Southern
California independent commercial office product, printing, furniture and technology provider, awarded a new
classroom to the students and faculty of Fernando R. Ledesma High School. The classroom was installed and
presented to school officials during a ribbon cutting ceremony held on Monday, November 21st, 2011 at 12347
Ramona Boulevard, El Monte, CA at 11 a.m.

From September 12th through October 17th, 2011 OS Business Interiors held an “Ugliest Classroom Contest” throughout many Orange County and Los Angeles school districts. Through distribution of email-blasts, handing out flyers and visiting school districts, schools were asked to participate by submitting photographs of their schools’ in-need classrooms, as well as compelling reasoning behind why they deserved to be named the “ugliest classroom”. The winner was selected by an Office Solutions company-wide vote.

The contest winner, Fernando R. Ledesma High School (a continuation high school in El Monte Union High School
District) received all new classroom furniture featuring a line called Smartlink by HON. A new teachers’ chair and
desk, twenty-four student desks and chairs, as well as a modular storage unit were installed at the high school,
totaling more than $17,000 in value.

High School Principal, Freddy Arteaga, nominated this classroom for the contest due to poor resources: warped and
borrowed folding tables as student desks, graffiti riddled chairs and no desk for classroom instructors. The winning
classroom provides a learning center for the students of Fernando R. Ledesma High School, and also acts as a
meeting place for many leadership groups and student clubs on campus.

donation will reach students from the entire El Monte, South El Monte and Rosemead communities. The furniture
